GENERAL MANAGER OF OPERATIONS
Michael Vozzo brings over 33 years of turf management experience and a Diploma in Horticulture to his role as General Manager of Operations at Fertool Australia.
A specialist in high-performance sports turf, Michael has worked across every level of the industry — from golf and bowling greens to elite sporting fields and turf wicket maintenance.
He has led turf preparation for major events including Pro-Ams, Pennant Competitions, Australian Open Qualifying and First Class Cricket.. His project portfolio is vast, collaborating with councils, environmental consultants, and design teams to deliver exceptional results.
At Fertool, Michael leads a growing team responsible for golf course maintenance, local government contracts, and private sites.
Outside the turf industry, Michael had a distinguished career as an AFL umpire and was recently inducted into the AFLUA Hall of Fame, and he is also an AFL Life Member, recognising his long-standing contribution to the sport and his leadership both on and off the field.
